Haha the boys are doing the Worlds greatest shave, i made a (what was meant to be) quick and easy website on wix - i have too many photos so sorting through them took hella longer than i planned.
The kids schedules are causing my memory cells to meltdown- and the fact that i'm bleeding slowly to a long and elusive death... haha but anyway...
Tivi took her/theirs/our bear moneybox, a collection of random coins we've collected for over 2 years now- from around the house and various heavy wallets.... to school to donate to -
'The poor school where they have to SHARE!'
Haha... the count apparently tallied to over $150 and she was asked if she was sure she wanted to give it away... she was sure, i've been suggesting to her that we should take handfuls to the old man who has the Salvation Army bucket at Stocklands - they love giving him coins and getting little Jesus loves me stickers and little 'God' magazines. Haha... but she heard the call for coins at school, so chose her charity promptly.
The hungry coin eating bear that Jacie loved to feed- has been emptied of his stomach contents and donated to a school in Kenya.
The principal gave her easter eggs by way of thanks. Van says they will give her something special at the next assembly. She smiles this pleased smile- and i am happy that she is learning - that you get, from giving.
It feels nice, and tastes chocolatey.
