Daddy Daughter Day

So Today was about Tivianh and I.

We had our first date night. I didn't do anything out of this world for her even though I wish I could. The truth is I'm not a very exciting person.

I cannot imagine this amazing things and organise them, I'm really bad at it. However this is something I'm trying to work on. As my wife always says that's not good enough.


So I will work on improving my date night with my kids trying to better them each time.

The funny thing......
My children love it, no matter what we are doing as long as were together it all gravy to them.

So tonight I took Tivianh to a restaurant close to home. She wanted spring rolls, yeah no surprise there for the people who know her.

So we took a walk and I thought there are alot of places to get spring rolls but I wanted to take her somewhere with a nice atmosphere so we went here.

She had a look through the menu, even thought it was always going to be spring rolls. lol.

Once we had ordered you looked abit bored, but then you figured you would prepare the table for our feast.

You opened up or chopsticks and got them ready even though I knew we weren't going to need it for this meal I couldn't stop you and I watched you happy get everything ready.

You walking over to me and placed my chopsticks on my napkin and said "This is for you dad." (smiling away)

Then you placed yours and we where good to go.

You started looking outside and doing the were's our food, looking all hungry and angry that its been 5 minutes and still no food. Then the food arrived and this is what we had.

And its all here and your happy, just Tivianh and Dad about to enjoy a meal together, it was so yummy.

We got a couple of fancy drinks coz ya like to be fancy sometimes. Your so beautiful Tivianh I cannot comprehend how I have I have created something so beautiful. You are my greatest work of art, a perfect balance between beauty and a touch of hori.

You look your most beautiful when your hair is all crazy and messed up. I have proof ya know. Look at the next photo pretty girl but what are you doing???? that's a straw right next to ya mouth. but no you will use you tongue and lick it up like a dog...lol but still your beautiful.

Do you remember this day? Yes I'm asking you as a big person, if I'm still alive come see me tell me you remember. 

After dinner I asked if you were full. you smiled the I want something daddy smile. "Can we get ice-cream?"

I said maybe if you ask the universe and then a waiter walked over and said. "Do you want your fried ice-cream now?" Your eyes got even bigger as you realised it worked.

So we had our final course for the night.

You ate most of the ice-cream and it was really yummy, but see your drink.....yeah that's all you drunk of your durian drink.

After this we went home and had home cinema night. We watched Brother Bear 2. Why? because you where learning about bears at Cabramatta West and Vietnamese school. duh

We had pop-corn and really BIG glass of coke each. It was nice to lay back with you and relax, so much so I didn't take any more photos. We have shared enough, so that part was just for us.
