Soooo whaddupppp peeps?
I'm tired- you know how it is... too much partying.
I should really stop getting jiggy wid it on the weekends... getting too old for this scene.
Haha... I love that most of our kids (in my friendship group) are old enough to play with each other - and actually remember each others names.
I love that the kids are so comfortable - that they'll arrive at someone's house and run off to play instead of clinging onto our legs.
I barely see my kids at parties these days other than when i'm trying to keep them still enough so that my photo's aren't just a massive blur off arms and legs.
I feel a little anxious when i see - the same kids i've seen at every other party Marii's ever had - all grown up and holed up in their corners not wanting to 'play' any more.
I don't know what to do with big kids other than embarrass and annoy them. Hahaha... well lets cross that bridge when we get to it. Or hope the grumpy old troll eats them all before we have to cross.
For now, i shall enjoy my little sprites.
We need to go back into this project. Start doing things again. I want to write a book with Tivianh. A children's story. A story about stars and babies.
i need to get my body back to working properly again... these mood fluctuations are doing my head in.
Today- we did our groceries. We looked at toys - because it's nearly Jacies birthday. Nothing much. My body is sore from weeks of sick and tired.
But right now... i have this yearning for blue skies and fields of grass. I miss New Zealand and the quietness of life in the country. I miss the beach at Mangawhai. My head dreams of holidays..
I've grown restless again... and the wanting to flee makes it hard to focus. What i need is to structure. To make possible the things that i long for.
SOonnnnn sOooonnnn.... til then... there are these things:
'Love you mummy.' She says.
'I love you too stinky pete.'
'Hey!'
"oh sorry - i love you too Fred.'
She grins 'Goodnight Stanley!'
'Goodnight, Fred.'
*giggles*
'Goodnight Charlie, goodnight Bob.'
'Goodniggggghhhht mummmm...'
Haha... oh other than the usual- i have to say tonight, i'm also grateful for awesome kids movies.
Tangled is one of my favourites of all time. Hilarious. Clever. Cute.
Tivi loves the idea that one day - she'll get to whack a boy over the head with a saucepan.
