20 minutes ago i was covered in castor sugar. In gel colouring... in chocolate frosting.
My daughter, who is Six today asked for a rainbow cake, with chocolate frosting - and strawberries - and One M&M on top.
Baking does not come naturally to me. Haha, this cake - the layers upon lopsided layer is a metaphor for what she brought into my life six years ago.
Six layers of complexity, colour and chaos, glued together by willpower and sweetness. Haha happy birthday Fred!
It's so easy just to buy a cake but the fact that you spent 5hrs making her the cake, going to sleep around 4am and waking up at 5, you're a super duper mum.
