This blog has been waiting to be written for weeks, she's made all sorts of excuses, from i can't do this from my iphone to it's like 1am and i am tired! to my toe is itchy! hahaha... okay maybe i made up the last one... But here it is, the long long awaited guest blog by the nomadic miss Chooo choo.

She's travelled the globe and made friends and swapped fluids with many good folks... Hahaha! This is a check in, a lil dose of X-tina for all you deprived of her giant smile and excessive noisemaking. She couldn't upload from her i- products and is still waiting for her Laptop so she sent this to me in pieces! Goodness me, i must really like you this was a lot of work!

This is amazing, you are amazing. I hope writing about it has made you see that for what it is. Extraordinary experiences, and an extraordinary YOU.

Hello.... I've never written a blog before so please bare with me.. And apparently i'm blog challenged as well, it's just not working for me, i'm on my iphone, typing with two fingers!!! so i'm emailing this to vien instead of writing my own entry hahhaha

So yes, im the one who is in canada and have been travelling for the last seven months prior to migrating here. I started of in asia then europe and now basing myself in canada hoping to touch more of the american soil.. Especially south america woohoo! ask me about a city or country and i probably have an answer for you lol i know dont be such a hater...geez i chose this life and its my life :P almost (99%) all of my friends have decided to get married and have more kids that you can count on your fingers and toes.... There is more kids than adults everytime we go somewhere lol


* These are pictures of Chris all around the world.  From the Great Wall of China to The Sahara, the pristine beaches of Lagos, Portugal... to Turkey and Santorini She's done it all!  Jealous yet?? And just for the record, i didn't Choose children, they chose me.... because i am awesome. Haha

Anyway, before I left, my beautiful friends had a bbq for me (thanks cat, love you long time!!) And i know they're concerned and what not and missing me of course hahhha... Cuz i was doing all this alone.. But i do have lots of friends and it doesn't take me much to make friends either. So i told them that i won't be alone, there's family visits in asia then tours and meeting up with people along the way and Simon in Spain. Vien, being vien.. Of course had to tease me....'oooohhhhh simon from spain...' For those who know me and Simon would be throwing up right now hahhahha jk i love you donkey arse!! Lol anyway so simon and i, we go way back and partied a lot in our 'younger' years.. And a reunion was calling... Little did i know he still go hard!!! Crazy times but fun times! Not sure about my liver though lol
So, they set me a task for my overseas adventures in finding a 'person' with the name starting with the beginning letter of that country. (simon from spain) The rules kept changing cuz they thought it was too easy for me lol. I mean i treaded it at the beginning but it was my way of meeting people as well and an icebreaker for me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have thrown myself in every conversation saying 'is there anybody with a name starting with.........' to random groups of people lol my favourite was in Portugal when the whole room was full of Peters, Pauls, Pierre, Pedro and Phillip lol

* Simon in Spain and the rest of Chrissys around the globe boy toys. Haha i'm sure there's a girl or two in there somewhere too, coz hey- plenty of Chrissy love to go around!

It's been a whirlwind the last two weeks actually. I felt like i had to start all over again. My days consist of craiglist, calling strangers, emailing, facebooking, whatsapp and viber... Then it's appointment making to view places to live and harrassing DHL to release my personal belongings... Which i wont be able to apply for any jobs until I get that. My laptop is amongst the items..

I'm staying with a friend at the moment in the financial district (thank you so much ben for letting me stay :)) He just started a company and they are still on their startup, looking at launching in January. There's currently three people in this business and all three basically live here, well ben owns the place lol. They're very quiet and i'm quiet too lol yes hard to believe but i dont want to be in their way of working. They work really hard and it shows. It's so cool to be here with them during their startup process... Seeing it all come together... They get so excited when they accomplished something.. I mean i would too if it was my business! It is going to be BIG mark my words! If you haven't seen it already, check it out;

i'm going to miss these guys when i move out on oct 1st.. We're already talking about family night, once a week for my visit aww so sweet, i'm part of the family... Lol i said to them when they get really big i get to be in their movie hahhahaha
My favourite time of day is meal times with the directors of Uniiverse.

Anyway, sorry, like vien i'm very random.. So, vien had to announced to the whole world (facebook) that i was writing tonight when all i had was 4 hrs sleep..  Yes, all the mothers would be screaming at me now saying 'that's plenty!! Wait til you have kids!!'  lol but ive been sleeping late (cuz i can) and waking up before noon was like a shock to the boys!!! Lol
Um, where was i again.... Lol yes, so back to my last two weeks of apartment searching... It's been crazy... I swear i saw about ten places, might not sound like much but i emailed about 30 to get those ten views! And it was like as if i was going on a dating site or something... Once, i kinda gel that - in the email you should write a little something about yourself, i started to get more response... And it goes something like this 'hi, im looking to rent around the area, im 30years old professional female from australian here for two years... I'm clean, honest, respectful, love to cook, but also try new restaurants.....etc etc..' You get the idea.. Seriously, i feel like i'm on a dating site..... Lol most of the people i met have been saying how they have to find the right fit etc i'm just like you're just nosy! Lol but the australian bit is what has been getting me responses ;) i love it.. I got this place because im aussie! Lol so come on over my aussie friends!! Lol
There's so much to write but i'm getting very tired and sore very fingers.

Now, since this is a gratitude project and it's been a tradition almost, im going to say my thanks to;
My family - for letting me do this.. I know it was a shock and so random and they can't stop me either. My mother still tells me to go home but she adds the 'only if you cant find a job or if you don't like it...' hahaha but i know she misses me and just want me home all the time. I want to also say special thanks to my siblings sophie, phyreak and phally for organising and helping me out with packing my things or just opening my mails and sending me my cards etc

Thanks to all my beautiful and the bestest friends ever!! For always being there and i know im never alone even if we're oceans aparts!! There's always internet! And now that im more permanent in one place, im just a phonecall away or 24hrs flight hahhahaa

Thanks to my bestie laeyah, even though you know that im overseas and wont be able to go through all the bridesmaidsy stuff with you, for having trust in me that i will get you shitface at your hens lol and making you comfy and beautiful on your wedding day next year! I love you long time!

Thanks to Simon, Linda and Juen for travelling with me and being my bank when i got robbed and always cheering me up!  You guys are awesome!!!! It would have been so much worst if you guys weren't with me!
Thanks to katie t, my cousin seila, katie l, shelley, matt, etienne, and big big thank you to ben for letting me stay in your home :))

And i'm so greatful to have met up with old and new friends all over the world.. I feel so blessed !!!
