I am Dad

I am DAD.

So it’s about time I chipped in on this project. I have been doing some behind the scenes work and now it time I actually wrote something.

I warn you all now I’m not the best writer or most interesting person but my wife..lol my wife..its sounds funny.

Vien has started this project to make a difference and to show and teach our children that life is good and you can see the beauty in it if you take a moment to see it. As most people will swear in court I have a default face aka Grumpy Face, but I started noticing a difference in Vien’s mood and the children responding to this and it made me find something I couldn’t REALLY find in a long time.

The favourite part of my days… so I would like to start with my wife. THANK YOU Thank you for being the person you are, thank you for bringing the most beautiful children I have ever seen into the world and teaching me how to be a better man and father to them.

Thank you to all Vien’s friends you know who you all are for welcoming me into your little “Click” and supporting Vien and I and helping us celebrate our family.

Thank you to Viens family. They have all taken me in with ease really except for POP but I’ll get to that, lol. First person I really want to show my gratitude to is Tivianh’s favourite aunty Vy,

Vy took us into her place when Vien was pregnant with Tivianh and has been there with us through most of it our adventure, she has been our quite support for a long time, always supporting us and not asking for anything in return. I’m grateful for the last 15 months of my mother’s life that you gave to us. Without you the kids wouldn’t know her like they do and I personally will always be in your debit for this.

Vinh, you are the little sister that always turns up random times, as dinner is being served then falls sleep in random spots. It feels like payback for when that was me. You always join us on our adventures traveling or just an outing, which sometimes I think must be really boring for you.  Your random hugs are appreciated and sometimes great timing and put a smile on my face (even when it looks default)

Pop, what can I say, dispute everything you do a lot of us and have also been the father I have never had and given me a lot of insight into the world and business I have never seen and probably never would have seen. I know you’ll never understand how much I appreciate the things you do for us and as a family as a whole.

The Vo’s , You always take Tivi everywhere and feed and clothe her. You have done this since she was a baby and it’s been good for her and good for Vien and I, so thank you both.

Team Morris, they are our life line taking the kids so we may get a break, they not only feed the kids but also feed us and have been there to support us since day one. They have adopted all our children and care for them like they were their own. One thing I should be worried about, if something happens to Vien and I, what will happen to the children. I know the family would be there but more importantly The Morris well be there as there 2^nd mum and dad as all the kids say. So thank you and I appreciate all the things you do and for all the things you will do.

Now I think I have said everything to everyone.  So what about me………….

I want give you a little insight into myself, as most people don’t know me well, I’m just Vien’s husband. Well I love music, all types but my favourite is Hip Hop and I love it, well I did until all the bullshit that has been coming out lately but through all this crap there are a few diamonds in the ruff.

- So in relation to music I’m really excited and pleased to show my gratitude to David Dallas for releasing another album and giving it to the world free of charge.  You may know him as Con-Psy, but I have liked his style when he was just finding himself and doing internet battles and I have seen him as a friend I believe we would get on well as he is so down to earth. I used to go to Papatoetoe South so mean as to hear Paps get a shout out. I have followed and purchased, yes purchased his albums and would have gladly purchased as I do all NZ artist as well, but the ddotdallas has given this to us for free. So if you like this style and it’s not your usual hip hop of bitches, 40’s and big rim’s then here is a sneak peek into me and the man himself, David Dallas.

- Another thing Im into is games, and in the next few months two of my favourite game titles have new releases Battlefield 3 and Call Of Duty MW3.

Battefield 3 , Im greatful to my wife for letting me play this as im getting 48hrs beta excess to this game before release date and she going let me have play... well she knows now. You know how great my wife is, for valentine's day one year she tried to get me a working repilic L96a1, which is the sniper rifle I use in Battlefield 2. She would of got it, but you need guns  licence even for bb guns here. but its the thought.

EA and DICE have built the game up with a new engine called Frostbite and it is built on Frostbite 2 which is the best graphic's, sound and distruction and just awsomeness I have ever seen in a game. what do you thing? any geeks reading this with me?

- Im also into web design and website, so when vien asked me to find a home for this project I was excited to get my hands on making something nice for Project Gratitude. so all will be revealed soon and I hope everyone likes it.

Ok so its past my bedtime and I will post again soon. Im off to dream about holidays and wining lotto.
