Hehehe the more i look at it the more i like this photo:
It reminds me of all the stupid shit we used to do, haha all the random conversations- i suppose its a running theme with me, crazy thoughts and insane laughter. Man, its been half a lifetime, like seriously- haha since school days and English Classes, and after school- Uni and all those times we used to talk about everything and anything and laugh so hard our stomachs hurt and our eyes filled with tears.
Hahaha i do miss those days, but from here so far away into motherhood and adulthood- i don't wish for them back anymore, i'm just super glad for those memories... haha we had great times my little Becki that could. And we will look back on these photos we took today and remember these days with the same fondness.
Dave was really surprised when he learned that we are all highschool friends, because like some or most people he lost contact with his friends over the years and moved on- made new ones...
I suppose it is amazing that we've known each other for so long, that we continue to make the memories that we'll look back on 15 years from now, thinking bout how young we were and how funny these times were. Ahhh we will say, ahhh those were some good times good times... hahaha
Becki, it's really awesome to see you all grown up, being hip and glam and cool with your manbags and his big guns. Hahahaha... You did it! You never give yourself enough credit dude, but you're like a legal lawyer lady, who has a husband that adores her, a beautiful home, you have social lives Paris Hilton would envy... because your social activities are entrenched in true and wonderful friendships, with people who genuinely wish you all the best things the world has to offer, and all their wishes combined may have been heard- because you have an awesome life... i envy your travels and your freedoms and your funny fun funtimes... but i am happy in the most deepest of places For you, because you deserve these things, and lord knows you've earnt it. On the eve of the eve of your birthday, a toast to you the little Becki that did. haha CHEEEEERRSSS n LICKKKKSSS!
Hehehe today i am of course grateful for old friends- especially the ones who like to cook!! Hahaha Lunch was awesome!! But not as awesome as the Miss who made it! Leet, i seriously don't know how you do it, but with the third one on its way, slow down n take it easy!! Hahaha you nutcase. You are one of the most extraordinarily selfless people i know, who juggles like a million and two things, but will take on another 20 if asked- haha sometimes i don't see you for ages bro, but whenever i do, i'm reminded of why i love you so much for just being you. You're hilarious and incredibly generous, amazingly cheerful even when you have so much to do and so many responsibilities it boggles my mind how you manage without complaint. Awesomeness. Thank you for letting me assist! Hehehe... now teach me to cook by example- come over every night and show me how!!
Hehehe anyway todays lunch was all round feel good, we grew into fanciness and organised events a little late, as we do everything- but we grow together and that's all that matters!! Thanks dudes, for the good times- today and all the days that have been, but specially for the ones to come, because with you guys, there's Always something to look forward to and u know- you ain't gettin rid of me EVERR hahaha
After lunch wrapped up and i got home, being full of mirth and delicious food- i declined cooking dinner and we went for a walk to the Aunty Restaurants place for takeaway dinner... haha...
And i played with my camera some more coz the light was nice and the kids were jolly - i know lunch was amazing and it was great seeing all you dudes, but my favourite part was watching the kids play on the street while we waited for the food.
I surprise myself sometimes, that no matter how much i try and deny it- i love ending my days with them.
They complete me. Like fo realz, they are like little bits of me that grew legs and arms and ran scurrying around crazily haha... without them now, i would be lost.
