While Tivi was doing homework with Daddy, you boys came in to read some books with me, then to stall sleep you wanted to take some photos. The light was terrible and you wouldn't stop moving- you two and your hysterics punctuated by cries of 'He hurt meeeeeee!!!'.
You're so close in age, you often get mistaken for twins - and i wonder if you will be close when you are older. In your teens, in your 20's and always.
I hope i raise you kids to be the best of friends, not because you are linked by blood- but because you are amazing people, people who draw ideas and strengths from each other, who encourage and inspire.
I'm a little scared of having bigger kids, i like you little- where when you run up to hug me i can lift you easily and listen to you giggle in my ear.
I need to spend more time asking you what you want to do - i need to make more time to show you all the marvellous things out there. I need to stop giving myself such a hard time and listen to you when you tell me, that i am the best mummy, and that you love me so.
Jacie walks up to me and says 'There a gerraffe outside. Outside the winnow.'
Oh really? Out there?
Yea!
What's he doing out there?
He come say hi me.
Wow that's cool!
Yeah...
And i go to kiss him and tell him he's cute- he smiles and scratches his head and goes bouncing off.
I'm making voices as i'm reading - the latest craze - back to Grug.
Stella says 'Stop it!'
Stop what?
Stop talking like that?
Like what?
LIKE A MAN!!!
Haha i laugh- but why?
I don't like it!!
Che jumps up and says - I DO!
Read it like a Man mum!
Tivi says - her favourite part today was going to school.
I marvel that after such a long break - she's picked up and sped off with her schooling- she's interested and aware and much more confident.
I'm glad Miss Bulman decided to take her, having an Aunty at your school who is a friend of your teacher, may be a slight conflict of interest- i can understand why she was a little hesitant. But i know a great teacher by instinct- and Tivi needs less 'nice' and more shoving. Haha... you'll have a blast this year lil dude. I just know it. :)
I loved that when i told her, not today she couldn't help me cook- because the oil was spitting and the stove was way too hot- she's didn't argue. She put on her Chefs costume and went to make soup on the toy stove- set the little table and screeched 'BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSS dinnnnnnnnnnnnerssss ready!!!' haha... i do not sound like that by the way.
I love your laughs, all 3 of you- specially when you laugh together.
