Sometimes she won't let me take photos of her, and i bribe her- today with jelly sticks. Haha- she wears a purple tutu- a headband with ruffly flowerish things, she see's the puddle i've made washing the old bath and toys. She edges closer on her bike. I tell her get her gumboots. SHe grins.

She wears this purple tutu, and black gumboots and rides her bike. She cries when Zane removes the training wheels. She can't balance - and she gives up. Haha it took her months to even try the bike when we put it together just before she turned 2 after realising it didn't move on its own. Just the other day i asked Zane if he remembered how she used to get the lil plastic sand bucket, put it over her head and climb on her ride on.

Haha i have this picture of her in my head with her crazy curls, a bucket over her head- oblivious to whatever we were doing. When she was little - she really could care less what we did - she always had her own things to do. I miss her at that age. Some day - i'll miss her at this age too.

Lana and Kara came to visit. Their mum, awesome friend she is- bought me a Cambodian Fish curry. I've only ever had this dish once on this really random day when i had lunch at Christinas place.

It was fresh and beautiful then, and tonight it was tasty and delicious.

Thanks Leet!

Lana doesn't look very happy here, but she loved it!! hahaha... i let her leave with all these pieces of paper and scissors. Haha... she loves to cut things!

Lana has this cute thing she does where she says, do you love this/me/my hair/my clothes.... haha

the first ting she asked me upstairs was if i loved her sparkly shoes.

I love her sparkly shoes!
Hahaha tivi was sitting playing with Kara, then she made a funny noise and when i looked up she pointed - Kara had the toy vacuum in her mouth (yes its a dyson haha...) She found Kara amusing.

They played up on Tivis bed, waking Che, who seemed a bit confused and stayed in bed, listening to the girls.
Leet was freaking out that Kara would fall off. Tivi loves having friends on her bunk.

The boys, when Jacie finally woke- kept peeping their heads in then pointing at the girls, giggling and running away to hide on my bed. Silly little things.

I still find it surreal that visits from friends these days involve these mini people. Haha - i find it odd and amusing - that when Leet sat down and i looked at her tired face, i recognised the feeling - the need for just FIVE minutes to close your eyes. The inability to do so because you can't tune out from your offspring. Haha our realities are permanent. We will never be the people we were when we first met.

There's no loss in that.... only amusement.

I love that i have had these friends, that from 14-15 years of age- all our milestones have been shared together. I love the thought that our kids will know each other- this way - from birth. I have a second family, and i'm lucky beyond my own comprehension.
