Once upon a time

Haha the last time i saw a story live, was the local library's reading/acting of The Very Cranky Bear.

The partition they erected as the bears 'Cave' Fell down and almost flattened a child. This is after The bear roared so loud and said 'I'LL EAT YOU ALL.' and sent the first row of children screaming back to their parents (luckily that freed the space for the falling cave) and one hysterical child cried for the entire duration therein after.

Hehe, Today as part of our Tivi/Mummy day we went to see This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing.... with very little knowledge of what it was about. Tiv and i held hands and when the lady who collected  our tickets said 'Front row' i think i squealed in excitement. Tivi saw the set and her eyes were wide. Even wider when the first sister 'Albienne' appeared. 'She looks like a doll!' Tivi whispered.

I loved it. She seemed a little unsure- but she laughed in all the right spots and her head turned in all the right directions. She followed the story. I loved the story.

I love stories. I loved that this was her first show in a theatre- with me!

It was like opening a book, and instead of reading it and making the voices as i usually do - it was having the characters step out in front of her.

I'm pretty tired and my words aren't really coming out right... but i thought i should continue

My Thank you's at least

sooo Thank you

To Jackie who opened the doors of Casula Powerhouse to me. I never knew how much goes on there. Jackie who loves her job and her life, and is infectious in her excitement for the arts and everything in general.
You are awesome.

Thank you to the cast and crew of This Girl... who did a fantastic job! I know Tivi will carry the tale in her head whether she knows it or not, alive with imagination and passion and magic. Woven into the centre of a memory in a way no movie ever could.

Thank you to Adrianna, and Aunty Verena and Brian. To Yummii as always. Marii my dearest. Hehe Thank you for taking the time out to read and share your kind words and thoughts. My world is full of the most lovely of people.

To Kathryn from Canteen, who - coincidently as i mentioned missing written letters- sent a handwritten note to thank us for choosing to fundraise for Canteen in Valley Stampede. Hand addressed, hand writtten, hand signed. I love these little things and the dedication of people.

To Van, who watched Jacien while Tivi and i went out. And spoiled him with shopping, like she does all the other kids. No matter how many times i tell her to say no. She never does.

Anyway i went to watch New Girl  with Zane.. haha it's how he bonds with people.

Braindead right now. What a wonderful day it's been.

Nite ya'll!!!
