When you watch the Game of Thrones, you finish or you blog. There is no middle ground.

Bahaha- i know i said i would write but i was watching and i have this weak spot for fantasy medieval period dramas. This series is amazingly well written and each episode ends in such a way where you must watch the next. Haha i'm blogging in front of the TV. Its been a long time since i have watched so much TV. This is partly because i really like this show, and partly because i am avoiding thinking of December, and the ensuing chaos of festivities.

I gotta start looking at everything in a new light- in an energetic fun light- haha right now i feel a little overwhelmed and i can feel the shut down reflex drawing me inwards - when actions become autopilot because my systems are messed up and on the verge of frying.

It's okay though because i've learnt to read the signs, and the signs always know the way.

Seriously this show is really distracting- haha you should all go watch it and not worry about this blog at all. I've often wondered what the asians were doing in medieval times. Apparently according to google they were trading and engaged in a smarter and more advanced warfare than the Europeans. Haha...  hey google said it not me.

Anyhooos yesterday Ella Bella Vo turned 4!! Time flies on the laughter of little children these days. I remember on the day of her birth, Van was in a terrible mood - as one is when in pain- and Vinnie and i were told ' IF YOU ARE GOING TO SIT THERE AND LAUGH YOU CAN PISS OFF' hehehe hilarious - then she said ' THAT GOES FOR YOU TOOO!' to Chinh. Vinnie and i went to get food and stay outta the way, giggling as we said bye to the man who caused the whole kafuffle by impregnating the lady in the first place. Haha anyway hours later and an emergency C-section produced a rather large and squishy Miss Vo.

Stella when you grow up and happen upon this, your mother looked at you when she came out of theater and said 'Look at her chinky eyes!' hahaha... loving first words if ever i heard them. I would have laughed but feared being expelled from the from the room once more- instead took to taking photos.

Here is a photo of us in the hospital after Van was prepped for the C-sec. Haha guess who's about to be cut up? Not the smiliest thing in the world is she? lol

This is Stella Lind Vo - haha Van wanted her Viet name to be Linh (she said later with a y) when the midwife asked Chinh what her name would be and how to spell it he spelt Linh - LIND and i was like wtf dude since when was Linh spelt with a D? haha the midwife told him off for that and having a flat battery on his camera.

That was four years ago- this was 4 years later, yesterday morning. We and the Morisses bought her a wooden princess castle.

At childcare Miss Maria gave her a Belle doll.

And this is what the rest of them looked like yesterday.

I made my husband a lovely meal because i am a kick ass wife.

Haha, and then i watched Game of Thrones til 2am.

Today, this is what it looked like outside my bedroom window, grey and greyer.

If i shoot in black and white, then its all just shades of grey -

The kids stayed home and coloured in:
 I love diffused light.

And the strangeness of children
Hehe, my son- my youngest, he broke the world in half today
He pulled it apart and it was hollow

Who would have thunk it hey Jacie.
Oh well, when the world falls apart on you, just keep smiling!

Because out of the ruins, you will find a hero- draped in white satin

Hehe to pick up the pieces and make merry with them... Lol i dunno when Che became such a clown but the confidence makes me laugh.

Then there is she, who picks up the paper thin shells of it all and pokes her tongue out - and i am comforted by the fact that when the world is broken, my kids find mirth in all its pieces.

LOL yes deep, and meaningful and not at all stalling because i am still watching my show and half assed blogging!

Hey look lets look at some more photos:

This is Che's picture taken by Tivianh
This is Tivianhs photo taken by Jacien
And this is Jacien taken by Che

Hehe, they are silly these kids, funny and carefree in these moments. Beautiful and perfect.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is the day that was 23.11.2011

And that is the way they were. :) goodmorrow fair wenches and brave sirs.
